Tatjana studied at Em. Darzins music school with prof. Dace Berzaja, Jazeps Vitols Latvian Music academy with prof. Juris Svolkovskis (MMus obtained in 2006), Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London with prof. Jacqueline Ross and prof. Krzystof Smietana (MMus obtained in 2005) and Hochschule fur Musik in Cologne, Germany, with prof. Gerhard Peters.


Tatjana also participated in masterclasses of violinists Rasma Lielmane (Mexico), Juri Braginsky (Belgium), Felix Andrievsky (United Kingdom), Alexander Reznikovsky (Russia), Georgy Pauk (United Kingdom), cellist Martin Lovett (Amadeus Quartet), clarinetist Dame Thea King.


Tatjana is a prizewinner of G. Enesku violin competition in Bucharest, J. Mravinsky violin competition in St. Petersburg, A. Glazunov violin competition in Paris.Tatjana performed as soloist in Germany, Holland, Sweden, United Kingdom, Switzerland and other countries. Since 2006 she is a member of Latvian National Symphony orchestra.



Currently Tatjana is working on her PhD thesis at J.Vitols Latvian Music Academy. Tatjana's research interests concentrates on musicians wellbeing, presenation and perception of live and recorded musical performance.
