Anete studied at Em. Darzins Music School in Riga with prof. Silva Krasauska and J. Vitols Latvian Academy of Music with prof. Vilnis Strautins (Master of Music degree obtained in 2006). Anete also attended masterclasses of many distinguished musicians - such as Philippe Beinot and Jacqueline Ross - professor at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London.


Anete is prizewinner of several music competitions (.P. Jurjans competition for wind instruments, Riga, A. Mravinsky International Festival and Competition, St. Petersburg) and frequently performs at major music festivals in Europe (Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, Rheingau Music Festival).  Among many artistic achievements as soloist and chamber musician the most recent  is second place and silver medal at 8th Osaka International Chamber Music Competition together with Danish woodwind quintet Carion. Anete has appeared as soloist with Latvian National Symphony orchestra, New Riga Chamber orchestra, Sinfonia Concertante chamber orchestra and others. She has performed in many countries including Lithuania, Estonia, Russia,Germany, Armenia, Japan and United Kingdom.






Anete has significant orchestral experience - she collaborates with leading Latvian and European orchestras on the regular basis. Since 2006 she is a member of Latvian National Symphony orchestra. Anete is also flute and chamber music teacher at P.Jurjans music school in Riga.
